Timeless peep toes

In all of our wedding wandering {from blogs to Pinterest to talking with brides}, we see an infinite number of wedding shoes. These sparkly bowed, peep toes by Valentino take the cake for one of my all-time favorite pairs. They'd perfectly suit bridal styles ranging from classic to uber feminine, don't you think?

Happy Shoesday!!

Here's to the weekend

Happy Friday, friends! What do you have planned for the weekend? We already have a busy few days planned {shocker!} including dinner with friends tonight, meeting with some potential clients tomorrow, afternoon skiing, a going away party and Sunday brunch. All fabulous things, but you better believe that I'm ready to kick off the weekend with some tasty libations! In honor of the impending storm coming our way on Monday, this "Nor'easter" looks delicious and seems fitting for the type of winter we've been having here in New England!

Color Crush: Winter White

There is something so peaceful and classic about soft, natural colors. Though etiquette used to say that wearing white after Labor Day {and before Memorial Day} was a faux pas, we're so thankful that the modern trends aren't adhering to it! We absolutely love winter white and couldn't resist putting together a little Color Crush board to prove it!!

It's every bit cozy and chic- don't you think?!

Skimming your way to Spring

Another cold day in Boston has us day dreaming of warmer weather flats… using the term "warmer weather" loosely, of course. Anything over 40 degrees would be lovely! The brilliant designers over at Madewell are adding salt to the wound with their super cute collection of skimmers.

I really have my eye on #1 but would gladly take one of each of these pairs. Which would you choose?

Monday Motivation

Starting off a busy week, there needs to be some serious focus on staying creative here in the world of Paper Moss. Sometimes it's easy to get wrapped up in a gigantic to-do list and forget to make time for life giving things... things that stir curiosity and breed creativity. If you're in the same boat, take the challenge with us this week and be intentional about tapping into those things. I recently came across a great article to help with just this and encourage you to take a look at the cute graphic explanation that accompanied it! Today, I'm most excited for #s 3, 8 and 11! Which one are you going to dive into?

Updating the loo

Whether your loo is a place of serenity & pampering {think bubble baths by candlelight} or more of a functional room, you want it to be fashionable and inspiring. Why? Because either way, you'll be starting AND ending your days there. It may as well be a beautiful place!! I took a much needed break from nesting my new apartment to focus on some more pertinent things, but since I'm now rearing my way back into "decor mode", I figured that some inspiration was in order!

In my opinion, there is nothing better than combining patterns and textures!! What do you think of this round up?

Pretty Paper: Maggie & Josh

Getting married at a venue that is an iconic part of a city is something that should be played up, in our opinion. We were over the moon when Maggie & Josh came to us with their appreciation for art and subsequent vision of a formal wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts. By incorporating a hand drawn icon of the venue on the main invitation, along with a few smaller, complimentary icons for the schedule of events, their letterpress suite set the scene for a weekend of elegance and merriment!

Becoming well versed

Women's fashion can be quite complicated- from sizing to styles... to the sizing of different styles, washable textiles vs. dry clean only… fearing how things will change & morph over time. When it comes to shoes, we want to pass along this handy tool that can help you be well-informed as you seek to expand your collection of heels. We think it's most helpful to plan a shopping trip to put your new knowledge into practice! ;)

Every lady needs one

Oh hey friends, happy Monday! Are you enjoying a nice little 3 day weekend in honor of Presidents Day? Well hopefully you're relaxing and too busy having fun to even bother blog-hopping, but in the event you're itching for something fun to fill your day with, we have something for you. Aside from the fact that it's engagement season and it would be a sweet gift, this DIY is just plain cute! Every lady needs a ring dish! I have one by the bathroom sink, one by the kitchen sink and one on my bedside table… because let's be honest, NO ONE wants to loose track of their pretty jewelry, diamonds or no diamonds. Anyway, this DIY looks super simple and I'm excited to give it a try!!

Check out Honestly WTF for the full play by play… and ENJOY the rest of your day off!!!

Planning for tomorrow

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! We truly hope that regardless of your relationship status, today you can celebrate the most important people in your life. Friends, family, those co-workers that make your days bearable, and so on. There is much to be celebrated and one of my favorite ways to celebrate is with food!! Although I'm excited for a nice dinner & a relaxing night, I'm already thinking about brunch tomorrow. Don't these festive fixings look divine?! Regardless of if you'll be hanging with your best friend, boy friend or roommates, why not wake up tomorrow and have a nice long, indulgent brunch? These recipes for cranberry buttermilk pancakes and a "Pimosa" {pomegranate mimosa} seem like the perfect pair!!

Happy V-Day! xoxo

Lovely tunes

 Love Sweet Love

Cranking up some good music is a necessity in the Paper Moss office. To help the latter part of the week sail by, we've put together a list of some of our favorite no-so-sappy love songs. There is a time and a place for those sweet slow songs, but this is not it, friends! We hope you enjoy bobbing your head to the likes of Allen Stone, Lorde, Capitol Cities and more!!

Gearing up

How was your weekend?! It was the first one in awhile that I've been in town and it was so nice to have some time to catch up on life, friendships and sleep. All great things but man, Monday snuck up on me! It's going to be a great week though. Don't you think? We'll be working on some bright, beachy designs for a tropical destination wedding, putting finishing touches on a traditional suite for a wedding at the Fairmont Copley and also polishing up designs for a wedding at the Boston Public Library… to name a few of the fun things on our plate! Whatever you have going on, we hope you have a FABULOUS  Monday!

This one's for you

There's just one week left until the highly anticipated holiday arrives. Yes, VALENTINES DAY! I know about 90% of you are cringing and the other 10% are rejoicing with butterflies in your stomach. This year I'm shockingly in the latter camp, solely due to being a newly wed. The previous decades of life were spent "surviving" the overly commercialized day. Regardless of where you're sitting, we want to encourage you to take this next week and show yourself some much needed love and TLC. Yep, fill yourself with positive thoughts {try to compliment yourself daily!}, soak in a foamy candlelit bath while sipping champagne and perhaps even treat yourself to something new & shiny {see #2}. Why go to all the fuss? Because you're worth it!!! Obviously. :)

Now get to it… and have a lovely weekend! xoxo
