{Q} How much do you charge for custom design?
{A} Letterpress Invitation packages begin around $2500 & Offset (flat-printed) around $2100 for 100 sets. Save the Dates begin around $1200. For more information on custom design, please contact us.

{Q} How many clients do you take per year?
{A} In order to provide unmatched creativity and attention to detail, we only handle a small handful of clients per year. Be sure and reach out to reserve your spot in our design schedule before it’s too late.

{Q} What if I love your style, but custom design is not in my budget?
{A} No problem! We recently launched a ready to order line of save the dates and invitations where you can choose from multiple pre-designed options and still get the same Paper Moss style and luxe quality. Shop The Collection now! Be sure to contact us before placing an order to confirm availability for your wedding date.

{Q} What is the difference between letterpress and offset?
{A} Letterpress is a beautiful method of printing using metal plates that literally press the art into the paper. Offset is high quality flat printing.

{Q} What is the process for custom wedding stationery? How long does it usually take?
{A} From the day you sign a contract, it takes about 2-3 months per project. (1-2 months for design and a month for production.) Rush options are available upon request. For a more detailed description click here.

{Q} I know you specialize in custom design, but what if I have an existing invite that I want you to mimic?
{A} We love to see what our clients are drawn to, but will not replicate another designer's work. We will design something for you that aligns with the look & feel you are going for, but with the signature Paper Moss 'touch'.

{Q} Can I still work with Paper Moss if I am out of state or live abroad?
{A} Absolutely! We’re sorry you’re not closer to meet in person, however, our process can all be done seamlessly via email. We have had a majority of our clients long distance, reaching as far as Denmark, Switzerland & Australia! We start with a phone meeting & sample pack. The design rounds consist of pdf's sent back and forth with your feedback and our revisions. Sample packs of paper and ink swatches are sent to you for approval so there are no surprises.

{Q} Where are you located?
{A} We are in Connecticut and are by appointment only but are are often in and out of New York City and Rhode Island. Please contact us to set up your consultation.

{Q} What kind of printing and paper do you use? Are any of them eco-friendly?
{A} Paper Moss strives to offer a range of papers in order to suit each client and their individual style. We believe in the quality of both offset & digital (flat-printed) and letterpress (pressed into paper) printing processes and will offer according to your budget. Recycled papers are available, as well as soy-based inks. Letterpress is generally printed on a soft, 100% cotton paper that is great for the environment.
*A great tip for keeping your wedding stationery ‘green’ is to consider setting up a website that will include directions, info, etc and eliminate having to print multiple cards.

{Q} Is there anything that you DON’T handle for Wedding Stationery?
{A} Yes: Addressing, assembly and mailing. (Time to round up those bridesmaids!) We can refer you to some fabulous hand calligraphers for both wedding artwork and guest addresses. We prefer to handle all 3 major phases of wedding stationery when possible: Save the Dates, Invitations, Day-of Accessories. *Assembly can be offered and will be quoted depending on project. Don’t hesitate to ask!

{Q} Do you offer anything in addition to Wedding Stationery?
{A} Yes! Contact us for any special event you may have coming up! Upon request, we welcome the opportunity to design or revamp company logos and collateral.

Please email us if you still have questions, we are delighted to help!
