We've been so lucky to have some beautiful fall weather here in Boston lately, but growing up it was a season of living in rain boots. Words can't express how much I love my Hunters, but there are days when the wardrobe lacks variety thanks to mother nature. In effort to spice things up, I rolled across these incredibly ADORABLE wellies from the British company, Joules. They're basically perfect, don't you agree?!

The one thing we dread about the crisp fall days is feeling confined to boots. You can only go so far with dressing up a pair and then you have to make a sacrifice for the sake of fashion. These rich burgundy crushed velvet heels from Top Shop however, would be SO worth freezing over. Don't you agree?

Upon finishing elementary school, a lengthy burgundy sabbatical was in order since it was a favorite color {I may have over done it} but let's be honest, that was well over a decade ago. Now, the more of this color I see, the more I want to see. Welcome back burgundy... with your bows and all!

When it comes to fall and winter, I'm a firm believer that one can't have too many boots. Ankle booties, boots up to the knee, over the knee, flats, heels, black, brown, grey... you can rationalize at least 4 pairs, MAYBE 5 at this point. It's a blessing and a curse, right ladies? After all of the searching for a new pair to welcome the chilly weather, always faithful, STEVEN by Steve Madden came through with these wedges in the perfect {in between chocolate and camel} shade of brown! Three inch wedges aren't too bad either for traipsing around the city, not to mention they'll give the illusion of longer legs!

We've seen some pretty amazing shoes in our day, but these 8 INCH HEELS by Christian Louboutin might just take the cake for being incredibly stunning and undeniably unwearable. Thankfully, Mr. Louboutin wasn't intending for these to be worn, but rather created these as a contribution to a benefit for the English National Ballet. Gorgeous, aren't they?!

Yes, that means that Autumn is upon us... and well, rumor has it that those tasty little beverages have already arrived in select stores! We're actually kind of excited for the crisp mornings & fall colors to roll in. We realize however that it's crucial to soak up any and every chance to wear cute shoes before the rotation of rain boots to snow boots begins.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: when we hear their names, it's only natural that pictures of little Michelle Tanner pop into our minds... why is that so hard to shake?! These two have definitely made a name for themselves as adults and even more recently with their label, Elizabeth and James. We're loving their looks across the board- from the eyewear & accessories to the gorgeous frocks and saucy shoes. Isn't this just the perfect ensemble??

The perfect solution for those of us car-less individuals who are constantly keeping flats in our purses or {dare I say} sacrificing style for comfort! While going through the shoe closet the other day, I realized that there are several pairs that have been neglected. It would be SO much FUN to compulsively run to Saks with our current "must have" shoe list, however my wallet and sense of reason led me to think otherwise. Yes, it's sick to think about, but Fall will be here before we know it. As charming as the season can be in New England, it's so hard to welcome it with genuine excitement.
