Loving on loafers

In the midst of this season & the crisp weather, I can't help but to gravitate toward loafers as a go to for fall flats. This pair from C.Wonder has grabbed my attention and peeked my interest, though I'm not entirely sure that I could pull them off. What do you think: are they festive & fun or better left to the sale section?

Sophisticated sass

If you're looking for a way to add some variation to your shoe wardrobe this fall, we HIGHLY recommend leaning toward the ever popular leopard print or if you want some extra pizzaz, you can't go wrong with some chic sparkly heels!! Either way, these are our 2 fave trends to add some sophisticated sass to any ensemble!

If these shoes seem a bit too bold for your personal style, consider a scarf, belt or hat to embrace the trend!

Brighten up

As I hunt for fall flats, stylish booties and warm slippers, one category of seasonal footwear that can not be ignored is... rain boots! Since I grew up in rainy Seattle, it took me decades to warm up to the idea of actually shielding myself from the elements and not just settling with getting soaked. I mean, it DOES dry! ;) Anyway, the fabulous gal behind {the adorable blog} Cupcakes & Cashmere posted these YEARS ago and you better believe they're still in style, going strong and inspiring us to aim for something brighter on a dingy day!

If you own wellies, did you opt for a classic neutral color or a bright pop?

Tropical geometry

Though the first day of autumn hit us on Sunday, I'm submersed in tropical weather & therefore am making an excuse for one last super sassy pair of sandals for our Shoesday pick today. I just love the funky leather pattern on these heels!

And it's pure coincidence that I sumbeled upon this geometric pink, stair rail in St. Lucia! A match made in heaven!

Happy Tuesday Shoesday!

Emerald city dancing shoes

Welp, it's the last Tuesday Shoesday before my big day and I've been saving this STUNNING pair of emerald & gold heels just for this occasion. If you didn't catch on, these 2 colors are in my wedding color palette... not only did I want to embrace the Pantone of the year, but being that the wedding is in the Emerald City {Seattle}, it was only fitting! Though my wedding shoes are fun, they have NOTHING on these gem covered stilettos:

Yes I have a bit of shoe envy, but I'm every bit in love with the ones I'll be donning come Sunday! :) Happy Shoesday!

Let's justify this

Summer's end is near and I've got to say that it's been a bit of a challenge to find cute sandals for my upcoming trip {honeymoon!!!} to St. Lucia. Yes, I probably should have started searching in peek season when the sandals were plentiful, but now I'm forced to look in unconventional spots... which is proving to be quite excellent. So, I've recently fallen for these leather sandals from & Other Stories. Case and point: I might have missed this gem!

Citrus stilettos

Can you believe that we're already in the last few weeks of etiquette approved wearing of white pants?! Though I believe that the whole "Memorial Day to Labor Day" rule of thumb is fading exponentially each year, I still feel a tinge of guilt when I go outside the bounds. Well in those last few weeks, let's go out with a statement...

Pairing white skinnies with some bright stilettos is a look we're currently in LOVE with. What do you think?

Reasons to celebrate

If you're a shoe lover, an accessory maven or an over all fashionista, you probably hit up the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that ended over the weekend. In honor of the passing of this hometown holiday {yes, Nordstrom is based in Seattle so it's quite a party every time this sale rolls around} we're highlighting some gorgeous heels that are absolutely wedding appropriate. If I hadn't already snagged my bridal shoes, you better believe I would be considering one of these pairs!!

Happy Tuesday Shoesday!

Pink bows + peep toes!

When it comes to picking bridesmaids shoes, I'm all for the approach of every gal for herself. Between comfort and keeping costs down, it's hard to rationalize the maids having matching shoes... until photos like this pop up:

A mess of bright fuchsia peep toes with sassy bows?! I'm pretty certain that every one of those gals was thanking the bride for the opportunity to own such adorable shoes. Don't you think?
