As I hunt for fall flats, stylish booties and warm slippers, one category of seasonal footwear that can not be ignored is... rain boots! Since I grew up in rainy Seattle, it took me decades to warm up to the idea of actually shielding myself from the elements and not just settling with getting soaked. I mean, it DOES dry! ;) Anyway, the fabulous gal behind {the adorable blog} Cupcakes & Cashmere posted these YEARS ago and you better believe they're still in style, going strong and inspiring us to aim for something brighter on a dingy day!

Welp, it's the last Tuesday Shoesday before my big day and I've been saving this STUNNING pair of emerald & gold heels just for this occasion. Summer's end is near and I've got to say that it's been a bit of a challenge to find cute sandals for my upcoming trip {honeymoon!!!} to St. Lucia. Yes, I probably should have started searching in peek season when the sandals were plentiful, but now I'm forced to look in unconventional spots... which is proving to be quite excellent.
