Something Sparkly

Obviously, every bride needs that "something blue". Are you on the hunt? While you're at it, you might as well use this opportunity to score a pair of Christian Louboutin's, right?? The good news is that these saucy heels are certianly classified as that "something blue", however the bad news is that the likelihood of being able to wear them again is pretty small. Unless, maybe they're perfect for a walk in the park? Going out for FroYo? A gala? Perhaps you don't need an occasion to wear these... maybe wearing them IS the occasion?

Plus, while we're gearing up to be patriotic next week, these kind of reminds us of fireworks...

Recycled Sails

There are few things better than setting sail on a nice breezy summer day. If you're outfitted with the stylin' boat shoes then you absolutely without a doubt need a saucy {but not over the top} tote bag to take along. Whether you're transporting goodies from home to the boat... or docking somewhere for a bite to eat, these Sea Bags, which are made of recycled sails are a must!

Don't you just love this look?!? So classy and chic, yet casual. Never before has recycling been so stinkin' fun!!!

Hittin' the beach

Beachwear is something we never really had the chance to master. Growing up in Washington & Colorado-- any opportunities to go to a beach were limited to the occasional family vacation. When we knew that a little vacay to Miami was in our future, it was high time to pull together some fun beach attire:

Hat: JCrew

Swimsuit: Anthropologie

Tory Burch Bag: Nordstrom

Roberto Cavelli Sunglasses: Bloomingdales

Clinique Sunscreen: Nordstrom

Upon arriving on Saturday we have been overwhelmed with the beauty of the coast. Now that the weekend is over, we'll be diving into some strategic planning for Paper Moss... what better way to tap into our creative outlets than to be relaxed and surrounded by God's creation? We hope you also had a lovely weekend-- get ready for a fabulous week!! Happy Monday!

New summer rules

How can you NOT love these??! Sperry Top-Sider's are the perfect summer shoe... and they have inspired 2 very important summer rules that we must pass along. Rule #1: Always be prepared {just in case you end up on a sail boat, Sperry's are white soled and safe for not scuffing the finish. YAY!}

Rule #2: Never resist a metallic boating shoe {wise words from a dear friend}

{Re}Learning to tie your shoes.

Customizable shoes are the greatest- especially when you can switch them up to match different outfits, right? Mohop lets you choose the heel height, type of wood {finish}, ribbon {pretty, yet functional straps}... and from there, the possibilities are endless. To give you an idea, Mohop gives you 8 ways of "tying your shoes" as a starting point. Don't be fooled by thinking that wearing wood shoes would hurt your tootsies either- these are said to be super comfortable!

Easing into Rocker Chic

Apparently Rocker Chic is an upcoming trend for this Spring. Incorporating zippers is a great place to start if you're not ready to go full force with a lot of metal. This Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody Bag is super cute and it has the zippers to keep up with the trend without being too over the top. As an added bonus, you can detach the strap to convert the bag to  saucy little clutch. What a great pop of color, right?

Playing in the Rain

Unfortunately April Showers didn't bring our May Flowers, but instead decided to stick around a little longer. This is getting old. Luckily our beloved JCrew saved our sanity with these adorable rain shoes. Hide those Hunter Boots and make room in your closet for those spring and summer shoes. undefined

Now between the bouts of spring rain and the peeking sunshine, you won't have to run for cover. Umbrellas are still advised. :)

Nothin' but Neutral

Big thanks to one of our beloved besties for these great picks from Nordstrom! Our purses for the day are subtle yet eye-catching neutral beauties. We loved them so much we couldn't share just one.

We are showing a little favoritism to the Valentino "Bon Bon" dome bag in Blush above. (I mean, look at it!)

And we couldn't bare to leave these behind.

We had a chance to get to know a little more about the lovely lady behind all these pretty pieces. Here's what Neallie had to say:

How did you get into the business? I have been creating jewelry since I was young, it was an absolute favorite hobby of mine. I was lucky enough to find a career within the couture bridal industry straight out of college where I used my creativity daily, and worked with brides and wedding professionals throughout the country.  After staying home with my kiddos for a few years I decided to start my own business and my immediate instinct was to create jewelry and accessories for brides.  I have since expanded my line to include colors and styles which can be worn day to night, for any and all occasions.

What is your favorite part? My favorite part of creating is just that. I love to create beautiful sparkly jewelry that makes you smile the second you see it.

Do you have a signature piece? I would say that my signature pieces are my E101 earrings, they are the absolute favorite among my customers, friends and family. They add just the right amount of sparkle and bling to your everyday jeans and t-shirt, or they are perfect with a wedding gown. I love them.

Tuesday Shoesday Retro

Early this morning, with coffee in hand, I browsed my guilty pleasure shopping emails from Nordies, Neiman, ShopItToMe, Gilt, etc. I tiredly came across an up and coming trend: Retro. At first mention, I wasn't very intrigued, but after seeing these beauties at Nordstrom, I changed my mind. My never-ending obsession with the vintage chic look is alive and strong. Happy Tuesday Shoesday friends. From right to left:
