When it comes to picking a wedding palette, we think that you can't go wrong with sticking to neutrals and soft colors! Printing invitations in "soft gold" which has a subtle shimmer (gold foil is much more metallic & shiny) is one of our favorite routes to set the tone for an elegant wedding with a neutral palette.
Our clients, Kristin & Rob worked with Details with Love to absolutely nail their vision for a neutral palette & super romantic wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. Leave it up to Person + Killian to perfectly capture every detail! We're thrilled that this wedding was recently featured on Carats and Cake! Check it out and get inspired!!

If you're a bride to be or if you simply enjoy pretty things, you've probably visited the Ruffled blog many times. I know we have!! We're thrilled that the talents behind this blog picked an inspiration shoot that we did a few months back! We had a blast collaborating with the gals at Whim Events to tie their vision for the shoot into some pretty paper goods! Shannon Grant of Rose Quartz Photography beautifully captured all of the pretty details and we've been in love ever since! Happy Friday, friends! We're super stoked to share a recent feature from The Knot Magazine's New England issue. We collaborated with the lovely ladies at True Event to bring Molly & Ned's gorgeous hand calligraphed, letterpress invitation suite to reality. The soft silver ink & silver painted edges added a touch of whimsy to a traditional suite. It's so fun to see how their wedding day came together- it's every bit as gorgeous as we could have imagined!! Photographer, Ned Jackson captured their day just perfectly. Take a look!!

The recent issue of Boston Weddings Magazine highlighted some gorgeous floral inspired invitation suites, tastefully paired with arrangements. We're so flattered to have one of our custom letterpress suites included in the round up!! We're completely swooning over this partial barrel full of blooms designed by Blooms of Hope! It almost makes us wonder which came first- the invitation or the floral arrangement?! :)

The recent issue of Well Wed Magazine {Cape Cod & the Islands} featured a bright & punchy inspiration shoot that we collaborated with a dream team of wedding vendors on. We can't get enough of the bright colors, funky fonts and the beautiful merging of cultural influences that made this shoot SO MUCH FUN to work on. Audubon style at its finest
Today, we're over the moon to share with you one of our all time favorite inspiration shoots, which was just featured on Style Me Pretty! We had the pleasure of collaborating with Greenlion Weddings, Glass Event Planning, Russell Morin Fine Cateringand the lovely Erin McGinn Photography to name a few of the talents behind this Vintage Audubon wedding styled shoot.
With a charge to design an invitation suite and accompanying paper goods that exude Vintage Audubon style, we got to work and had a blast doing so!! We think that Kristen Henderson's hand calligraphy was the perfect touch on that chocolate brown envelope! :)

New England meets West Coast
We're ecstatic to share with you the details of a styled shoot that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty! We put our heads together with a dream team of wedding professionals, spearheaded by Alexis from The Little Thingsand we were aiming to capture the whimsical, effortless style of the west coast and pair it with the clean, preppy east coast style. Ruth Eileen Photography was there to capture every second, and MAN that girl is talented!!! :) Here are some of our favorite shots that we wanted to share, starting with the invitation suite which {as you know} sets the tone for every event!
Sweet Annie Florals and Shindig Events (who did the catering!) brought a TON of color into the soft backdrop of Plum Island. Can you believe how beautifully it all came together? We can't stop flipping through the photos...

Oh goodness, I'm nauseous with excitement to share this feature... because it was my own wedding! Our fabulous photographer, Ryan Flynn submitted our wedding to Seattle Bride Magazine and low and behold, they loved it!!
It's so fun to see some of our wedding details on those glossy pages, though I'm not going to lie- there's nothing I hate more than having attention on me so even sharing this is painful to some degree. ;) Thanks so much for sharing in our excitement though!!! Without further adieu, here it is...
I owe every bit of the beauty of our wedding to the wonderful Nicole Haynes of Herban Design Studio. She was a total rockstar and saved my sanity. And speaking from experience, I can say how much of a difference it makes to work with vendors that you admire and "click" with. If anyone is getting hitched in Seattle, let me know- I have a dream team of vendors to refer you to! :)

We're getting geared up to head to the Improper Bostonian's "Boston's Best" celebration tonight! You better believe that we are every bit giddy & humbled to be attending as this year's Bridal Invitation award winners. We get this awesome badge as proof ;)

A culturally inspired wedding
We've had our hands in some fun projects lately, one of them being this gorgeous wedding inspiration shoot that was recently on WEDDING CHICKS! Yep, we were pretty pumped about that. :) The brilliant ladies from Sixpence For Your Shoe headed up the shoot and pulled inspiration from various cultures to influence every element. With the backdrop of the Hill-Stead Museum in Connecticut and the work of Eric Foley Photography, we are thrilled with how it all came together! Friends, we just got word that one of the weddings that we worked on last year was featured on none other than Style Me Pretty! Galen & John's wedding took place at Muskrat Farms in Rhode Island and we knew the tented affair was going to be romantic and every bit ethereal. As we worked on their invitation suite using soft colors, whimsical hand calligraphy, a textile inspired envelope liner and a little muskrat icon, we quickly fell in love. The couple worked with Exquisite Events to design & execute their day and every little detail was captured with precision by the fabulous folks at First Mate Photography.
Naturally, we feel compelled to share their gorgeous letterpress invitation suite, featuring hand calligraphy by the lovely, Kristen Henderson...

Sarah & Mike had quite the fairytale wedding. With the Ocean House setting the stage for their weekend of festivities, this adorable couple wed at the chapel across the street and had a tented reception on the lawn. Think crystal chandeliers and sheets of sheer white fabric hanging inside a sperry tent. Candlelight with black, white, gold, soft pinks and so on. Style Me Pretty just featured this amazing day, so please {pretty please} take a look! We promise you'll be inspired!!!

A magical Tuscan rehearsal dinner
We caught wind from one of our beautiful brides that her wedding weekend was featured on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book blog last week. We were lucky enough to work with Meghan {said bride} and the masterminds at Italia Celebrations on the paper goods for a jaw dropping rehearsal dinner. Seriously guys, this is what dreams are made of!!

Pure Bliss
Just the other week the ladies of Paper Moss had the chance to get fancy and celebrate the release of the latest issue of Bliss Celebrations Magazine. Do they EVER know how to throw a release party! Take a peek at some of the pretty pages… and definitely peruse the whole issue {here} when you have time!
Gold is our favorite neutral color right now… and it's a perfect compliment to nearly every palette! We topped off Lyla & Max's soft gold letterpress suite {shown below} with tangerine painted edges for a sassy pop of color!
A pretty pink palette can create an ambience ranging from romantic to fun. Tyler & Tijana's tone-on-tone letterpress suite was inspired by Chanel and we combined both stripes, floral and unique frames to keep the eye moving throughout the suite.
From mint to emerald, we've had some fabulous green invitation suites these past few months! Katharine & Daniel's mint & gold letterpress invitation suite features playful chevron, cute icons and a fun monogram which was carried throughout their day of materials!
As if those color round ups aren't enough inspiration, we collaborated with Bliss Celebrations on this gorgeous, rustic Alpine Woods inspiration shoot! Though we're heading into spring at this point, the rich colors and cozy textures have our minds already spinning with ideas for next winter and fall!
