Audubon style at its finest

Today, we're over the moon to share with you one of our all time favorite inspiration shoots, which was just featured on Style Me Pretty! We had the pleasure of collaborating with Greenlion Weddings, Glass Event Planning, Russell Morin Fine Cateringand the lovely Erin McGinn Photography to name a few of the talents behind this Vintage Audubon wedding styled shoot.
 

With a charge to design an invitation suite and accompanying paper goods that exude Vintage Audubon style, we got to work and had a blast doing so!! We think that Kristen Henderson's hand calligraphy was the perfect touch on that chocolate brown envelope! :)

New England meets West Coast

We're ecstatic to share with you the details of a styled shoot that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty! We put our heads together with a dream team of wedding professionals, spearheaded by Alexis from The Little Thingsand we were aiming to capture the whimsical, effortless style of the west coast and pair it with the clean, preppy east coast style. Ruth Eileen Photography was there to capture every second, and MAN that girl is talented!!! :) Here are some of our favorite shots that we wanted to share, starting with the invitation suite which {as you know} sets the tone for every event!

Sweet Annie Florals and Shindig Events (who did the catering!) brought a TON of color into the soft backdrop of Plum Island. Can you believe how beautifully it all came together? We can't stop flipping through the photos...

Featured: Galen & John

Friends, we just got word that one of the weddings that we worked on last year was featured on none other than Style Me Pretty! Galen & John's wedding took place at Muskrat Farms in Rhode Island and we knew the tented affair was going to be romantic and every bit ethereal. As we worked on their invitation suite using soft colors, whimsical hand calligraphy, a textile inspired envelope liner and a little muskrat icon, we quickly fell in love. The couple worked with Exquisite Events to design & execute their day and every little detail was captured with precision by the fabulous folks at First Mate Photography.

Naturally, we feel compelled to share their gorgeous letterpress invitation suite, featuring hand calligraphy by the lovely, Kristen Henderson...

And incase you foolishly decide to not hop over to SMP to soak in the beauty of the whole feature, here are a few detail shots which of course include 2 of the "day-of" stationery items that we designed for them!

We're beyond thrilled to have this wedding featured. A huge congrats to the happy couple- it was an absolute pleasure working with you!

Featured: Sarah & Mike

Sarah & Mike had quite the fairytale wedding. With the Ocean House setting the stage for their weekend of festivities, this adorable couple wed at the chapel across the street and had a tented reception on the lawn. Think crystal chandeliers and sheets of sheer white fabric hanging inside a sperry tent. Candlelight with black, white, gold, soft pinks and so on. Style Me Pretty just featured this amazing day, so please {pretty please} take a look! We promise you'll be inspired!!!

A magical Tuscan rehearsal dinner

We caught wind from one of our beautiful brides that her wedding weekend was featured on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book blog last week. We were lucky enough to work with Meghan {said bride} and the masterminds at Italia Celebrations on the paper goods for a jaw dropping rehearsal dinner. Seriously guys, this is what dreams are made of!!

And because we're total paper nerds, why resist showing some of our favorite bright & punchy details of the evening?! Check out these beautiful table signs- white ink on soft blue paper perfectly complimented the colorful florals!

Their creative use of colors and textures such as the ribbons & rock candy shown here, were just a few details that made us completely swoon!

And what party would be complete without drink stirrers to mark their signature cocktails?!

We're taking a little break from Tuesday Shoesday, in order to share with you some exciting news! A couple of months ago, we collaborated with some super talented wedding vendors at 9ofs {a breathtaking new event space in Boston} to create a little inspiration shoot. Ethereal florals from Petal Floral, gowns from Ceremony AND Bella Bridesmaid… and True Event working their magic?! All captured by the amazing Casey from Hello Love Photography… feast your eyes on the feature that was live on Style Me Pretty yesterday!

Happy Friday! We wanted to end the week with sharing one of our weddings that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty. Marissa & Brian brought a unique twist to their rustic wedding by incorporating folk art into their stationery. Check out photos of their suite here. While the paper perfectly set the tone for the occasion, True Event made sure that every last detail exuded antique & rustic elegance. Pair that with blooms from Petal Floral and photography by Michelle Gardella… you'll be swooning just as soon as you take a peek at the full feature!

From the day I first spoke with Laura and heard her and Erik's vision for their destination wedding, I knew it would be nothing short of magical. They are such a sweet & genuine couple... just as I'm giddy for their feature on Style Me Pretty, I can't help but to overflow with happiness for their marriage. Cheesy? You bet. Honest? Absolutely! :)

Take a gander at their beautiful wedding weekend, in which their closest friends & family overtook a villa in Tuscany. With so many sweet details and a jaw dropping location, it's no surprise that Italia Celebrations was behind it all... from them, we would expect nothing less!! It was such a pleasure to set the tone for Laura & Erik's wedding extravaganza!

The Gatsby inspired wedding trend is among our favorites as of late. Christa and Luke merged a stunning color palette {read: pinks, bright raspberry, grey, silver & gold} with this old school influence to achieve a wedding day that completely blew us out of the water. The folks over at Style Me Pretty agreed... and we're excited to say that it was recently featured on their Little Black Book blog! You MUST check out this stunning feature.

We had the loveliest time working with Christa to design their custom wedding stationery. She loves paper goods just as much as we do... it was a match made in letterpress heaven! Of course we can't resist sharing a photo of their invitation suite {below} but also be sure to peruse the feature to see their fun day-of accessories!!

We absolutely LOVED the vision of this wedding from the start and welcomed the challenge of setting the stage for two weddings- one Hindu ceremony and a Christian ceremony & reception the following day. Working with Allison & Don on their rustic Vermont wedding was such a blast! Not only are they an incredibly sweet couple, but their desire to incorporate designs from Riverside Farm {their venue} into their stationery offered a fresh challenge. Their love of icons gave way to creating custom sketches that perfectly accented the typography. Designs were enhanced by letterpress pale blue ink and white foil on the matching blue RSVP return envelope. We're excited to say that this beautiful event, coordinated by the masterminds at True Event was recently featured on Style Me Pretty! Today we're psyched to share the beautiful wedding of some dear friends, Ally and Scott, that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty! Real Weddings: Kelly & Chris

Working with Kelly & Chris to create their adorable sheep inspired invitation suite was beyond fun... to say the least! As we learned about their vision and saw it being brought to life throughout our design process, we worked closely to create some fun day-of-accessories to tie the paper goods, favors & table settings together. The outcome was more incredible than we could have imagined, and Style Me Pretty California agreed!!

Allyson Magda Photography was there capturing the sentimental moments shared between Kelly & Chris, the breathtaking countryside in Carmel and {of course} all of the details!! Let's just say that this girl has got TALENT! We couldn't resist sharing some more photos from the gallery of their big day... enjoy!!

Today we're excited to highlight the wedding of our past clients that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty!! Stephanie & Marcos had a stunning wedding for several reasons- first being that they are just a precious couple! Also, their chic color palette of cool grey & bright yellow, laced with crisp white could not have been more stunning... and we could not have pictured a more perfect planner for this occasion than the brilliant Sarah True of True Event! Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, Connecticut is a stunning backdrop but Hana Floral Design, who worked their magic with lots of lush yellow florals, paired with beautiful threads {the wedding party was decked out in Jcrew's finest and the bride donned an Amsale gown} made sure that there were beautiful details in every corner. A big thank you & hats off to Anna Sawin Photography for capturing this gorgeous affair!

Pretty Inviting: Emily & Justin

We wanted to take this Wedding Wednesday opportunity to share a recent invitation suite that we created for a sweet couple, Emily and Justin. Working with these two was just a blast... in Emily we found a bride to be who loved paper & design every bit as much as we do! Every stage of the custom process was so much fun- from the start of their letterpress invitation suite design, to designing the coordinating accessories and finally, the keepsakes for their wedding. This invitation suite perfectly captured the elegance of their vineyard wedding that would take place at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, in Stonington, CT. Emily's color palette of purplish-blue and silver beautifully complimented the vineyard inspired designs on this double thick, double letterpressed invitation suite. We're still just giddy over how these turned out... and they perfectly set the tone for a wedding was nothing short of breathtaking! We hope you had a magnificent weekend! One little valentines day gift that came to us early is just too exciting not to share with you. As you probably know, we just adore Style Me Pretty and there's a good chance you share this sentiment. We were over the moon when we heard that our sweet clients, Sarah and Zack were selected to have their wedding featured on the Massachusetts blog. This wedding was nothing short of spectacular... take a look, we're sure you'll agree!!

The glorious Style Me Pretty sure outdid themselves in their first ever issue of Style Me Pretty Magazine. For a blog that features over 1,000 weddings each year, we were honored {jumping, shreaking and doing some aerobic style moves for good measure} to hear that 2 weddings of beloved Paper Moss clients made the cut for their Best of 2010 E-Glossy!
