We recently had a batch of our recent Save the Dates and invitation suites photographed by the lovely & talented Erin McGinn Photography! Words can't even describe how excited we are to share some of our recent work with you all and we're kicking it off today. You probably know how much we love mixing fonts so designing a text heavy, modern Save the Date was a blast to work on. Tiffany & Alan wanted to keep a neutral palette and we're just in love with the rich charcoal & natural paper combination!
We'll share their invitation suite soon too, but want to hold off until after their big day... which is this weekend! Congrats to Tiffany & Alan!!!

Hey there! How was your weekend? We're getting geared up for another busy week putting finishing touches on our NEW WEBSITE and the Ready to Order line!! Wahooo! There are so many fun & beautiful things in the pipeline, we're just plain giddy! Let's kick off the week with some feminine, sassy and well jeweled heels! Aren't they to die for?!
Happy Monday! Now let's carpe diem!!
We have had a blast using hot foil stamping on several projects this season, allowing us to add an extra pop of metallic to any stationery suite. It's that perfect pop of glam! Like we mentioned on Wednesday, we're completely in love with these shimmery colors... and so we wanted to do a festive DIY in the office to unleash some creativity. Paint brushes in hand, we mixed up some copper and gold paint and went to town on these little white pumpkins.
Truth be told, painting these little white pumpkins was harder than I thought! Yes, that's my inner-perfectionist speaking... but it was fun none the less. We just couldn't resist pulling together some letterpress suites and a copper plate (used for foil printing) that we had laying around the office.
We were SO excited to design & print an all gold foil suite for a September wedding, shown below. Unfortunately our humble little photos do not do justice for this glamorous suite but we'll be sure to share the professional photos when we get them back!
Have a lovely weekend, friends!
We simply can't get enough of incorporating metallics into a wedding palette! What's more romantic than bronze, gold, silver or rose gold elements bouncing off of candle light?! We recently spotted these ethereal & oh-so elegant gowns from Truvelle and are absolutely obsessed with the shimmer factor of both of these styles. Talk about turning heads when you walk down the aisle!!! AND our excitement doesn't stop there... many of their designs have backs that are just as beautiful as the fronts! What do you think? Would you don a dress that has colored embellishments?
If you saw our post on Friday, you know that we've been designing our 2014 Holiday Cards for the last month or so. We're truly more excited than EVER before to show you what we have up our sleeves- think hand lettering, mixed fonts, fun patterns, deer silhouettes...! For those of you who are planning ahead, please note that for a limited time we are giving away custom postage designs to match your holiday cards!! Check it out and email us ASAP to to get the ball rolling!
We have been working our butts off on holiday cards lately and in the process, we've stumbled across some killer new fonts. My particular favorite is the oh-so stylish Elsie, but it's hard not to be intrigued by South Rose that has characteristics of stained glass. :) Which is your favorite?
Have a fabulous weekend, friends!
That question. I'm sure we've all been asked that a time or two (or nine)... and if not, it's just a matter of time before it happens. :) When the tables turn and it comes to doing the asking of that special question, we think that passing along a pretty card with a sweet handwritten note is a must. Now, whether you accompany it with a little "bridesmaid survival pack", mini bottle of champagne or some other creative idea, well, that's up to you! Thankfully there are some super cute bridal party specific cards popping up these days! Here are 5 of our absolute favorite cards to help get your wheels turning...
Today we are delighted to share with you a playlist that was put together by our friends from Forêt Design Studio. We've long admired these ladies and were lucky enough to get to know them at an event a few months back. Among the many things we connected on, our love for music was one of the most exciting. It's always fun to hear what inspires different creatives… and this is just a little sample:
Give it a listen here!
These ladies are not only as sweet as can be- but their portfolio speaks for itself regarding just how talented they are. We can't sing their praises enough and couldn't miss this opportunity to also show off one of their GORGEOUS designs! Check out their website here to see more of the beauty… and also to find out how to connect with them! :)
This weekend, one of my dearest friends from college is coming to visit with her husband! I'm absolutely over joyed and have been tapping in to my inner-hostess for weeks now, anticipating their visit. Truth be told, I'm not a huge cocktail drinker and would choose wine, bubbles or a beer most days. There is something fun & celebratory about mixing up a special bev and catching up with friends. This Apple Cider Bourbon PunchCOMPLETELY has my attention and I've been itching to try something with spicy fall flavors lately! This seems to be the perfect occasion, friends! What do you have planned this weekend?
We can't possibly think of a better way to spend a Wednesday, than to share some fun letterpress stationery. Christa and Luke's Gatsby inspired invitation suite goes down in the books as one of our all time faves. Not only are we in love with the art deco designs, but there are so many special details that make this suite even more stunning. With shimmery silver letterpress ink as a base, we accented the suite with blush paper backings & a blush RSVP envelope and added pops of color with raspberry painted edges & custom postage. One of my personal favorite elements however, is the killer envelope liner, merging the blush & raspberry with a vintage pattern to tie everything together!! Enjoy!

On the chance that you haven't heard by now, we couldn't miss the opportunity to share the arrival of the hottest "must have" that just arrived on the wedding scene. The minds behind the beloved & inspiring blog, Grey Likes Weddings recently released The Mrs. Box. These vintage velvet covered ring boxes are surely the snazziest way to showcase your bling for wedding detail shots... or for those of you popping the question, we can't think of anything better to present the ring in!! They come in a variety of colors & the top can be foil stamped with an initial. Perhaps indicating the soon-to-be last name?! Whatever color you choose, foil or no foil printing, we're absolutely smitten with these bright boxes. Check out the whole selection here!!
It's the first official weekend in October!!! Are you excited? Please tell me you're doing something festive like apple picking or going to a corn maze! If not that, at least pull out some nail polish in a cozy, fall tone and treat yourself to an at home mani! ;) As if you need any additional coaxing, here are 4 AWESOME reasons to get excited about autumn... and possible ways that you can celebrate this weekend!
PS- try this amazing recipe for Hot Chai Apple CiderASAP! :)
I'm not sure if you caught our post last week on flower girl dresses, but we can't forget about the boys... so here is part two! There are just so many fun ideas circulating these days for ring bearers! Whether you want your little guy dressed to the nines in a miniature tuxedo or sporting a matching tie + suspender combo like some of the ones below, there are countless options that can be found from Etsy, J.Crew, Janie & Jack, etc. We're not only in love with the little ensembles, but also with the creative ways that rings are being carried down the aisle!!

Happy Monday, friends! We hope you had a lovely weekend and are ready to OWN this week!!
Can you believe that the first day of Fall hit on Tuesday?! This year has flown by incredibly fast and we'll be the first to admit that we're not ready to let go of the warm weather & long evenings. It's painful to anticipate the cold weather that's coming! Knowing that it's inevitable, we're looking on the bright side by getting excited for our favorite seasonal activities. One thing I love this time of year is to spend time in the kitchen- cooking, baking, mixing up a spicy new drink... whatever form it takes, I LOVE the flavors of fall! On top of that, since moving to New England, I've appreciated the tradition of apple picking. Here are 10 apple based recipes that we {in the Paper Moss office} are dying to try this season:
Do you have a favorite one? If so, PLEASE pass it along- I'd love to give it a try :)
Oh and I should mention- if you want to get in the festive spirit with your significant other, consider these festive date ideas that we spotted over on Lover.ly this week!
I'm a sucker for miniature versions of things- cupcakes, dogs, baby shoes and so on. Do you get that same gushy feeling?! When it comes to picking out attire for the kiddos in the wedding party, there is nothing more fun than seeing the frills, lace, ribbons and poufs available for flower girls! These dresses are some of our current faves for that little lady, many of which are available on Etsy, believe it or not!
Today friends, is a special day in my world. One year ago, my man and I vowed to spend our lives together, for better or worse. It's crazy how fast the time has flown by... and to think of all that has happened!! It has been quite a roller coaster of a year, but I am beyond thankful to have my best friend by my side to face all of the ups and downs that life throws at us. A couple of months ago, the idea popped into my head to recite our vows every year on our anniversary. Leading up to our wedding, we took preparing for our marriage very seriously. We wanted to spend just as much {if not more} time building a foundation for our marriage as we did planning the details of our wedding. Our vows continue to be a powerful reminder of our promise & commitment to each other and to God.
We chose to say traditional vows at our wedding, so when I came across this gorgeous print from Lindsay Letters, I was so excited!
If you want to adopt this tradition, there are many calligraphers and artists on Etsy that you can commission to customize your own words of commitment. Although I LOVED the gold foil print above, I wanted a slightly more traditional piece that included our names & wedding date, so I asked the talented Kristen Henderson, to hand letter ours!
Do you have any special anniversary traditions?
The other day a close friend mentioned that she had plans to do a DIY lampshade for her home. I'm not the slightest bit surprised that it turned out PERFECT and looks amazing with her other decor. Naturally, seeing her success makes me want to brush off my craft supplies and give a project a try... is that crazy? This hand painted pillow DIY is adorable and seems easy enough to not totally botch! ;) If you're looking for a little weekend crafting, would you dare attempt a new, custom throw pillow?!
Have you come across a good DIY lately? If so, please share!
Happy Weekending!
One of our favorite wedding trends as of late, is incorporating elements from nature to create a lush, romanic ambience. We get to hear about all of the fun details that are in planning phase for our clients, but it's crucial for us to make sure that the invitations we're designing accurately set the tone for the wedding. Having a loose color palette and a near whimsical feel, playing with textures and sparing no effort for elegance, we're giddy at the endless possibilities of this organic look. Here's what we're envisioning...

What do you think?! Do you love it or prefer a more polished style?
