Pretty Paper: Tiffany & Alan

We recently had a batch of our recent Save the Dates and invitation suites photographed by the lovely & talented Erin McGinn Photography! Words can't even describe how excited we are to share some of our recent work with you all and we're kicking it off today. You probably know how much we love mixing fonts so designing a text heavy, modern Save the Date was a blast to work on. Tiffany & Alan wanted to keep a neutral palette and we're just in love with the rich charcoal & natural paper combination!

We'll share their invitation suite soon too, but want to hold off until after their big day... which is this weekend! Congrats to Tiffany & Alan!!!

On another note, don't forget to order your Paper Moss Holiday cards ASAP! Check out our 2014 Holiday designs and order by November 17th!!

Font love Friday!

We have been working our butts off on holiday cards lately and in the process, we've stumbled across some killer new fonts. My particular favorite is the oh-so stylish Elsie, but it's hard not to be intrigued by South Rose that has characteristics of stained glass. :) Which is your favorite?

Have a fabulous weekend, friends!

Pretty Paper: Christa & Luke

We can't possibly think of a better way to spend a Wednesday, than to share some fun letterpress stationery. Christa and Luke's Gatsby inspired invitation suite goes down in the books as one of our all time faves. Not only are we in love with the art deco designs, but there are so many special details that make this suite even more stunning. With shimmery silver letterpress ink as a base, we accented the suite with blush paper backings & a blush RSVP envelope and added pops of color with raspberry painted edges & custom postage. One of my personal favorite elements however, is the killer envelope liner, merging the blush & raspberry with a vintage pattern to tie everything together!! Enjoy!

The Mrs. Box

On the chance that you haven't heard by now, we couldn't miss the opportunity to share the arrival of the hottest "must have" that just arrived on the wedding scene. The minds behind the beloved & inspiring blog, Grey Likes Weddings recently released The Mrs. Box. These vintage velvet covered ring boxes are surely the snazziest way to showcase your bling for wedding detail shots... or for those of you popping the question, we can't think of anything better to present the ring in!! They come in a variety of colors & the top can be foil stamped with an initial. Perhaps indicating the soon-to-be last name?! Whatever color you choose, foil or no foil printing, we're absolutely smitten with these bright boxes. Check out the whole selection here!!

6 Apple Recipes To Try This Fall

Can you believe that the first day of Fall hit on Tuesday?! This year has flown by incredibly fast and we'll be the first to admit that we're not ready to let go of the warm weather & long evenings. It's painful to anticipate the cold weather that's coming! Knowing that it's inevitable, we're looking on the bright side by getting excited for our favorite seasonal activities. One thing I love this time of year is to spend time in the kitchen- cooking, baking, mixing up a spicy new drink... whatever form it takes, I LOVE the flavors of fall! On top of that, since moving to New England, I've appreciated the tradition of apple picking. Here are 10 apple based recipes that we {in the Paper Moss office} are dying to try this season:

Oh and I should mention- if you want to get in the festive spirit with your significant other, consider these festive date ideas that we spotted over on Lover.ly this week!

Flower girl frocks

I'm a sucker for miniature versions of things- cupcakes, dogs, baby shoes and so on. Do you get that same gushy feeling?! When it comes to picking out attire for the kiddos in the wedding party, there is nothing more fun than seeing the frills, lace, ribbons and poufs available for flower girls! These dresses are some of our current faves for that little lady, many of which are available on Etsy, believe it or not!

The first year

Today friends, is a special day in my world. One year ago, my man and I vowed to spend our lives together, for better or worse. It's crazy how fast the time has flown by... and to think of all that has happened!! It has been quite a roller coaster of a year, but I am beyond thankful to have my best friend by my side to face all of the ups and downs that life throws at us. A couple of months ago, the idea popped into my head to recite our vows every year on our anniversary. Leading up to our wedding, we took preparing for our marriage very seriously. We wanted to spend just as much {if not more} time building a foundation for our marriage as we did planning the details of our wedding. Our vows continue to be a powerful reminder of our promise & commitment to each other and to God.

We chose to say traditional vows at our wedding, so when I came across this gorgeous print from Lindsay Letters, I was so excited!

If you want to adopt this tradition, there are many calligraphers and artists on Etsy that you can commission to customize your own words of commitment. Although I LOVED the gold foil print above, I wanted a slightly more traditional piece that included our names & wedding date, so I asked the talented Kristen Henderson, to hand letter ours!

Organic Wedding Inspiration

One of our favorite wedding trends as of late, is incorporating elements from nature to create a lush, romanic ambience. We get to hear about all of the fun details that are in planning phase for our clients, but it's crucial for us to make sure that the invitations we're designing accurately set the tone for the wedding. Having a loose color palette and a near whimsical feel, playing with textures and sparing no effort for elegance, we're giddy at the endless possibilities of this organic look. Here's what we're envisioning...
