Hello dahlings! How was your weekend? Did you have any fun Easter plans? Well, today we're just tickled to share that Rhode Island Engaged Magazine featured some of our stationery in their latest issue!

What a fun spread of nautical stationery... and Krissy & Joe's red and white polka-dot invitation suite is on the main page! Also, check out #9 on the right hand page! :) Custom tote bags {i.e. our Watch Hill tote below} are one of our favorite ways to deliver goodies to out of town guests. This is such a fun round up of New England gift ideas for a local wedding. Often, our brides like to include one of our custom hand-drawn maps of the area as a guide & keepsake {shown on bottom right hand page}.

Pretty Paper: Metallic orchid & soft white

Somehow our beloved clients, Sarah & Zack managed to dream up the perfect balance of whimsy & modern flair for their big day. If you haven't seen their wedding feature on Style Me Pretty Massachusetts, you must take a peek! We're still swooning over their gorgeous letterpress invitation suite that set the tone for this glamorous event- perfectly combining a geometric pattern, their quirky monogram and a silhouette of the Newport bridge since their wedding was at Belle Mer. Working with this couple was just so much fun and we are beyond excited with the custom stationery we created together. Oh, and those custom stamps... they were that juicy little cherry on top!!

A Blissful Celebration

Happy Monday! Today is a day to celebrate. Why? Well, aside from the start of a soon to be fabulous week {trust us, this is going to be one amazing week} we're super excited to share some fun features that were in the most recent issue of Bliss Celebrations magazine! We at Paper Moss just adore this mag and if you've had your hands on a copy you'll know why. Each page is filled with to-die-for inspiration, beautifully blended with real events and inspiration shoots alike. Agh! We. LOVE.

Upon giddily flipping through this latest issue at their recent launch party, we noticed that our beloved clients, Krissy and Joe had their wedding featured... with the stunning photography of Kristin Spencer Photography. This wedding was just beaming with precious details and couldn't be more Bliss-worthy!

And we're still completely head over heels with this inspiration shoot... check out the behind the scenes video!

What could be better then the combination of nautical and chevron? This nautical excursion birthday celebration was beyond our wildest dreams and we were just thrilled to design the invitations, menus and detail signs.

And last, we just love to print on mediums other then paper when we can... and this invitation to a tree trimming party is the perfect example!

Pretty Inviting: Becca & Dan

Today we're so excited to share Becca & Dan's invitation suite that is best defined as 'preppy elegance'. It also happens to involve one of our favorite color combinations right now: navy and fairway green. OH HEAVENS! Just the other day I met with a bride who has some amazing plans up her sleeve with this pantone pair and hearing of her sweet, nautical details just made me giddy!

I digress. Designing this suite with Becca and Dan was such a fun process! The combination of fonts and mix of patterns added just enough variation to keep things formal but still playful. Oh and can I just say, we're still swooning over the green linen paper backing on the invite?! The perfect 'cherry on top'!

Pretty Inviting: Emily & Justin

We wanted to take this Wedding Wednesday opportunity to share a recent invitation suite that we created for a sweet couple, Emily and Justin. Working with these two was just a blast... in Emily we found a bride to be who loved paper & design every bit as much as we do! Every stage of the custom process was so much fun- from the start of their letterpress invitation suite design, to designing the coordinating accessories and finally, the keepsakes for their wedding. This invitation suite perfectly captured the elegance of their vineyard wedding that would take place at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, in Stonington, CT. Emily's color palette of purplish-blue and silver beautifully complimented the vineyard inspired designs on this double thick, double letterpressed invitation suite. We're still just giddy over how these turned out... and they perfectly set the tone for a wedding was nothing short of breathtaking! Pretty Inviting

It's Wedding Wednesday {YAY!!!} and we wanted to take this opportunity to share another pattern laden creation... this time however, it was created by us! It was so much fun working with Carolyn and Chris to create their Tory Burch inspired letterpress invitation suite. We sprinkled in some nautical touches to highlight the gorgeous venue they were to be wed at... the Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI. Real Weddings: Tijana & Tyler

If you're a regular visitor of Style Me Pretty, you might have caught a glimpse of this wedding that was featured last week. We've been giddy with the anticipation of sharing this beautiful day and the fun invitation suite we created to set the tone!! Tijana and Tyler wanted a vintage Parisian feel and drew inspiration from Coco Chanel. Their stationery conveyed such a fun elegance!

The big day took place at the gorgeous US Grant Hotel- the architecture alone provided beautiful decor, but Tijana and Tyler also planned out loads of details to make sure nothing was forgotten. I have to apologize in advance- there were so many STUNNING pictures to choose from that I not only had a hard time deciding which to share, but this has resulted in a major vendor crush on Laura Ashbrook Photography!!! They captured this wedding so perfectly... I think you'll agree!

Ahhhhh! Are you just swooning?! I just love the flowers by Floral Palette as well! What an amazing day!!

Recap & Celebrate

Wow, it's been quite a week! Thanks for sharing in our joy with the recent Paper Moss update and celebrating our little victories of being in Well Wed Magazine and the Improper Bostonian. Seriously, you guys are the best and we can't thank you enough for your support, kind emails and happy comments!

On Wednesday evening, we went to an event at Veronique and had the most divine festive cocktail: champagne + apple cider. Easy and delicious, being one part cider, three parts champagne and you have the option to line the rim with cinnamon & sugar! If you're looking for something new to try to celebrate the weekend, give that a shot!! We wish you a very lovely Friday, may it be the prelude to a spectacular weekend!! xo

Improper Bostonian

All of you locals {Boston & surrounding areas} might have noticed that the recent issue of The Improper Bostonian is the long awaited WEDDING ISSUE! Hooray!! Through contacting local vendors they pulled off an awesome series of inspiration based off of 4 art exhibits taking place around the city. We were thrilled to contribute some of our invitation suites that complemented the respective themes. Yes, it's easy to see how art exhibits can inspire creativity, but never did we imagine that they could inspire a wedding. What a brilliant idea for an art loving couple!!

Well Wed

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!! We definitely did a celebration dance recently when we saw the latest issue of the Cape & the Islands edition of Well Wed Magazine. It's truly a beautiful issue packed full of AMAZING ideas and stunning inspiration!! One of the most exciting parts however, is having one of our recent inspiration shoots included!!! We worked with Tyra Bleek Photography, Becca of Petal Floral Design and the lovely ladies at Boston Bridal Lounge to bring this bright & beautiful "Winter Rainbow" concept to life.

Gorgeous, right?!! We're obsessing over this color palette! Another one of our fun invitation suites was included in the "Minty Fresh" inspiration board. Loving this cool & romantic combination!

A Paper Moss Update!

HAPPY MONDAY! Today is a day of updates. If you're a friend of Paper Moss, you may already know that we've been experiencing a little growth spurt lately and couldn't be more excited! We are thrilled to now have locations in both Providence & Boston, and figured it's time to introduce you to the "team". So you may know Emily- the face, the founder & designer of all of the pretty paper and goodies of Paper Moss, but just in case you aren't familiar with this fabulous lady, let's get better acquainted:

Some fun facts about Emily...

Yes, Emily is the genius behind the pretty stationery that you might love! She handles the creative process & all of the customized designs. Whether it be an invitation suite, tote bags, custom bow ties or anything in between, Emily is great at making sure all of the details tie together perfectly.

Since I {Anna} am not involved in the design process, I get to gush about how GORGEOUS the stationery is! Aside from being the blogger, tweeting and participating in other social media & marketing shenanigans, I am also the account manager. If you work with Paper Moss on a project, I'll be with you during the initial meeting, brainstorming, and putting together your estimate & contract. We re-connect after designs are done and finalize all of your project details. And of course, now you get to learn about me:

Some fun facts about Anna...

We were lucky to spend an afternoon with the adorable & talented Tyra of Tyra Bleek Photography. This was a great opportunity to be reminded that we're far from being professional models {thankfully Tyra worked her magic} but the day was full of gorgeous weather and LOTS of laughing.

Any guesses what Emily said to make me laugh?? Oh goodness...

Southern New England Weddings

On this fantastic Friday, we wanted to share some great news- our clients, Kelly & Tommy were on the cover of Southern New England Weddings, Destination Edition! Their wedding at the Ocean House was beautifully orchestrated by our sweet & oh-so-talented friend, Sarah True of True Event and a dream team of New England vendors such as Stoneblossom {florals}, Ryan Designs {lounge furniture} and Jennie Fresa Beauty Library {makeup}. And last but not least... Miles Whitt Boyer was there to capture it all with his breath-taking photography!

It's time!

It’s FRIDAY and indeed a day of celebration!! On this fabulous 16^th day of September, not only are we are celebrating the birthdays of some dear friends… but we're also celebrating the nuptials of my {Anna’s} big brother and soon to be sister-in-law! This day has been slowly approaching and since they got engaged we’ve enjoyed sharing their e-session and crushed on and gushed over their fun fall grey, coral & peach color palette. We figured that today it is only appropriate to share their invitation suite!

A Rendez-vous to Remember

This last weekend we joined in the fun & hoopla of a "Blogger Meet Up" organized by our friends Alison of Long Distance Loving and Jillian of Cornflake Dreams. It was such a wonderful weekend being surrounded by such creative and inspiring people whom we've blog crushed on from afar.

Well, part of this weekend extravaganza included things such as a CHOCOLATE TOUR {if you're a New Englander, this is a Boston activity that should be on the "must-do" list}, some yummy cocktails and even some super fun giveaways! Truth be told, we didn't win any of the giveaways {BOOOO!} however as a product of someone else's win, we have a new-found love, better known as The Bauble Bar. A woman can never have too many bracelets, right? Here's just a tiny sample of the gorgeousness that awaits...

Apparently we're on the slow boat because they've graced the pages of InStyle Magazine AND even Justin Bieber has been spotted sporting one of their Baubles! If the Biebs is doing it, my question to you is: What are we waiting for?! Guess it's high time we join in the fun!

A little 1920s inspiration

Monday, Monday! We made it through the hurricane, but with all of the excitement & preparation for the extreme elements we didn't mention the AWESOMENESS that took place on Friday. The ladies at Magnolia Pair put together a dream team of vendors to bring to life a vision & inspiration for a romantic 1920s wedding. When they asked Paper Moss to design the stationery & signage for this inspiration shoot, we jumped, twirled and hollered at the opportunity to join in the fun! Here's a little peek at what they dreamt up...

And we loved creating these cute signs to highlight the prohibition era cocktails!

Swooning over Laduree

T.G.I.F. darlings! It's been a long {but glorious!!} week for Paper Moss but we are so ready for the weekend. On Wednesday night, we had the chance to attend the Boston Weddings Magazine launch party at the Lenox Hotel. It was such a fun time of meeting & greeting other wedding industry professionals... and of course, celebrating a fabulous new issue of Boston Weddings! Check it out if you haven't yet! :) I must say however, that in the midst of all of the fabulousness, one thing that was unexpectedly captivating was a light, fluffy & oh-so-flavorful raspberry french macaron. OMG! Prior to this, I hadn't realized how amazing macarons are! If you adore these sweet little cookies, we have some great news {below} but first, how cute is this flavor chart?!

In the process of embracing this "fixation", we came across Laduree, the cutest french bakery. Not only do they have adorable packaging that would be a gift in itself, but they are opening their first U.S. location in New York on AUGUST 26th! Yes!!!

We adored working with this perfect pair on their invite suite and the other paper goods for their wedding- it was truly an incredible day filled with classic "school spirit" flair and an underlying nautical tone.

Wedding inspiration: Soft blue & rich red

A red, white & blue wedding? Yes... it IS possible to embrace this color palette without feeling like Uncle Sam might pop out of the cake. :) Feast your eyes on this inspiration board- filled with a vintage flair & laced with touches of modern elegance. By taking a soft blue and rich red tones, we succeeded in dodging a patriotic feeling! What do you guys think about the combo? Would you ever have a red, white & blue wedding?
